The Bay Area Youth Symphony, also known as BAYS, is seeking support from our local businesses and communities as we plan to open our first season in January of 2007.  BAYS is a supplement to our outstanding music programs in our area schools, but does not receive monetary support the local school districts.  We are looking for corporations and businesses, such as yourself, to help us in our endeavors.

BAYS is a non-profit, 501 (3) c organization and holds a tax-exempt status.  Your contribution will help aid this organization is all monetary needs.  In return, BAYS will provide its patrons with free advertisement in all professionally printed concert programs, promotions, as well as public recognition and concert tickets throughout our concert season.  Upon receipt of your donation, you will receive a letter of acknowledgment that may be used for tax deduction purposes.

The financial needs of BAYS cannot be met through fundraising and student tuition fees alone. Your generous contribution will ensure that BAYS will become a reputable and successful organization for our student participants.

Local Businesses and Individuals

The Bay Area Youth Symphony, a local youth orchestra, is now in it’s third season. Similar to the Houston Youth Symphony, BAYS will service young musicians in the Southeast Houston area. We are asking our local communities and businesses to help support our organization by purchasing an advertisement in our concert programs which will be held on November 30, March 8 and May 3. BAYS is a non-profit 501c3 organization and all contributions are tax deductible. File Number 100432401 – Taxpayer # 3-00099-6459-1.

Students involved in the youth symphony come from many local communities including Clear Lake, Friendswood, Deer Park, Pasadena, Baytown and La Porte. With over 100 young musicians performing, we are anticipating an audience of well over 500 people. This will provide an opportunity for your ad to reach many of the people within these communities.


Cost for program ads are:
  • 1/3 page (business card) - $ 50.00
  • 1/2 page - $ 75.00
  • Full page - $ 100.00

Your ad copy, along with your payment, is due November 1, 2008. Please make checks payable to Bay Area Youth Symphony. In addition, make sure that your ad is “picture ready” and that no additional editing is needed.

Should you have any questions concerning this event, please do not hesitate to contact us. You will receive a receipt for tax purposes upon receipt of the ad.

Bay Area Youth Symphony's mission is to educate and develop young artists by providing them the opportunity to perform with their peers in a high level musical ensemble enviorment, while enriching their musical education. Our ambition is to provide the talented students of our communities, the opportunity to become involved in a youth organization that will not only achieve musical excellence, but will also bring forth their appreciation and love for music.
