Our concert next week on Match 1, 2009 will be at the Clear Creek High School auditorium. (Map) Admission is free for this concert.
Preparatory Orchestra Concert - 4:00PM
Philharmonic Orchestra Concert - 4:30PM
Symphony Orchestra Concert - 5:00PM
The Symphony (in Band Hall) and Philharmonic (on Stage) warm-up will start at 2:00PM. Preparatory (in Orchestra Room) warm-up will start at 2:30PM.
Concert Dress:
Ladies - All Black (Symphony), Black pants/dress/skirt and White Top (Philharmonic)
Men - Tuxedo, black cummerbund/bow tie (Symphony), Black pants and white shirt and black cummerbund/bow tie (Philharmonic)

If you are traveling South on I45 you will need to take HWY 3 South as an alternate route. The NASA bridge is currently being rebuilt and has shut down 45.
If you are traveling East on 518, the road will split into 2094 and 518. Stay in the left lane so that you will stay on 2094. Pass the stadium. You will make a right turn after the stadium. The auditorium is located just past the Field House.

Concerto Competition Winners
Congratulations to the BAYS Concerto Competition winners Alan Chen from Space Center Intermediate (Philharmonic) and T.J. Brown from Clear Lake High School (Symphony)! They will be featured in the Zilka Hall at the Hobby Center on our May 3 concert.

Bay Area Youth Symphony's mission is to educate and develop young artists by providing them the opportunity to perform with their peers in a high level musical ensemble environment, while enriching their musical education. Our ambition is to provide the talented students of our communities, the opportunity to become involved in a youth organization that will not only achieve musical excellence, but will also bring forth their appreciation and love for music.
