Concerto Competition Application
The BAYS Concerto Competition applications along with the $30 application fee are due this coming Sunday, January the 24th. Participants must be current in with tuition payments, have an accompanist, and have an excellent attendance record for rehearsals. The competition will be held on February 21st.
Also, Winds and Percussion have this coming Sunday off. There will be string chair auditions and sectionals only.

Rehearsal Resumes
Happy New Year! Hope everyone had a safe and exciting new years celebration. BAYS will resume rehearsals this coming Sunday, January 3, 2010, 2:15pm at Clear Springs High School. See you there.

Bay Area Youth Symphony's mission is to educate and develop young artists by providing them the opportunity to perform with their peers in a high level musical ensemble environment, while enriching their musical education. Our ambition is to provide the talented students of our communities, the opportunity to become involved in a youth organization that will not only achieve musical excellence, but will also bring forth their appreciation and love for music.
