The mission of the Bay Area Youth Symphony is to educate and develop young artists by providing them the opportunity to perform in a unique musical ensemble environment while enriching their musical education.

The members and students of the Bay Area Youth Symphony will abide by the following core values:

  • Loyalty and
  • Dedication

BAYS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in which the members are the parents, while the young musicians themselves are enrolled as students. If your young musician is not already a BAYS student, we welcome him or her to audition.

BAYS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Rehearsal

Doors open at 2:10 for sign-in and tuning. All students should be seated and ready to play at 2:30. Symphony level rehearses 2:30 until 5:00. String and Prep levels rehears from 2:30 until 3:45.
