Bay Area Youth Symphony’s 2015-2016 Season

 

The mission of the Bay Area Youth Symphony is to educate and develop young artists by providing them the opportunity to perform in a unique musical ensemble environment while enriching their musical education.

The members and students of the Bay Area Youth Symphony will abide by the following core values:

  • Loyalty and
  • Dedication

BAYS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in which the members are the parents, while the young musicians themselves are enrolled as students. If your young musician is not already a BAYS student, we welcome him or her to audition.

Tom Dinardis Receives TMEA Honor

TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association) has named Tom Dinardis’ Westbrook Chamber Orchestra the State Honor Orchestra for 2015-2016 for the Texas Middle School String Orchestra! This is the second time his orchestra has won this honor. Congratulations to Tom, his colleagues and his students for this top Texas honor!

Lunar Rendezvous Festival Donates $2,000 to BAYS

The Lunar Rendezvous Festival Board of Directors met on October 15, 2014 and approved the Distribution of Funds raised from the 2014 Festival which generated $180,000 in profit.
